Today, Steve's hat and I visited the oldest cache in Hawaii. The container is a little rusted, but it's a good big cache at the top of a very big hill.

Steve's hat in the US of A
Turns out Steve's hat didn't help me be very good at shootin' clays, at least not after I got tired. Who know a gun was so heavy. Now, (a day later) my arms are killing me

Up up and away!
Today, Steve's hat went for a little ride. I am happy to report that it returned safely, as I don't think it would have been recoverable if it had an incident on this trip....
There were no caches involved, unfortunately :(

....on the big island (of Hawaii)
Steve's hat has had a productive couple of days here on the big Island.....
It has been to steam vents:
Suphur Cliffs
Higher than it can EVER go in Australia, including any of those stupid tree climb caches
Helped a fellow Australian celebrate finishing her p366 (with some local Hawaiians)
And been photographed on a webcam!
Well done Steve's Hat!!

nearly visited Davey Jones Locker
Today Steve's hat and I visited this cache Welcome to Paradise and we had to travel by boat. We were whipping along and suddenly : Swoosh!! Steve's hat flew off my head, immediately accompanied by a loud cry of OH NO!! from me.
I'd like to say it was good management by me, by it was only by pure luck that Steve's hat landed in the back of the boat rather than in the briny deep.
As you can see from the top left hand corner of this picture, the hat made it safely to (and from) the cache. It's next adventure will be in the US
Note: Do I count the unloved on this cache? The only visitor in 10 months was the same person a heap of time.

A close call |

Fiji
Today, just before dinner on the beach, Steve's hat visited what might be its only cache on Fiji. Then it was time to celebrate.
Time to celebrate with a drink, or two
Turns out Steve's hat is a bit cheap and will pick up any old hat it finds!!
